The Winter CSA Share has become a favorite of many farm members. We are looking at 7-9 items per week that you can use right away or save to enjoy at your leisure during the winter. This is a popular share so make sure to get yours early!!!
What we hope to enjoy in the winter share:
Swiss Chard, Kale, Lettuce, Cabbage, Pac Choy
Micro greens
Turnips
Carrots
Celery
Garlic and Shallots
Gold and Red Potatoes
Candy Onions, Red Onions, Storage Onions
Tomatoes
Roasted Peppers
Winter Squash such as acorn, butternut, spaghetti, delicata, carnival, etc...
Pie Pumpkins for Thanksgiving pies!
Also Preserved Harvest from the Fruit Orchard:
Cherry Amaretto Jam (Members' Favorite!)
Spiced Peach
Spiced Apricot
Plum Cardamom
Herbs: Parsley, Dill, Basil, Thyme, Sage, Chives, and Mint.
Organic Colorado Orchard Fresh Apples and/or Pears(this depends on what is in season at the orchard)
Organic Mushrooms from Hazel Dell in Ft. Collins
(This is what is in the plan for the winter share. However, there may be some changes depending on weather and crops.)
Delivery Dates: October 30th, November 6th, 13th, 20th and December 4th & 11th. No delivery the week of Thanksgiving. Pick-up locations in Golden, Broomfield, Centennial, Aurora, Denver, Littleton, and Brighton. Times may vary somewhat from the summer schedule. For more details.
